Tony was the 20th and last child of Michael and Catherine Hoffman.
He attended rural schools and St Mary's school at Elkton, South Dakota. He married Hilda on February 14, 1941 in Canby, Minnesota and had 2 children, Jim & Judy. They lived on a farm northeast of White, South Dakota.
He continued farming after Hilda died in 1957.
Died of colon cancer at Wiener Memorial Hospital in Marshall, Minnesota. Tony was devoted to kindness throughout his life and was a peace loving person to his family and friends.
