Dolly married Lewis Henry Siefert on December 26, 1917. The couple welcomed their only child, son Robert Lewis in 1921.
The Siefert family lived at 909 Prospect Street in Lansing until Dorothy's death on March 30, 1977. She was buried next to her husband in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing.
