Caroline married Ansel Post Stroup, March 22, 1868. The parents of Caroline was William L. Bellamy and Clarissa Calhoun.

AGED LADY AT REST
Caroline Bellomy was born in Muscatine County, Iowa, January 5 1946, and died at her late home in Appleton City, November 6, 1922, being 76 years, 10 months and 1 day of age.

She was married to A. P. STROUP March 23, 1868, and to this union were born three Sons, Wm. Franklin, John Erwin and Robert Forrest, and one daughter, Clara P., all of whom were present when the mother spoke the last good-bye.

She also leaves thirteen grandchildren, nine great grand-children, other relatives and a host of warm friends who mourn the loss of a loving mother, sister, neighbor and friend.

In October, 1869, Sister Stroup professed faith in Christ and united with the Round Prairie Baptist Church and later transferred her membership to the First Baptist Church of Appleton City and remained a member until God called her to her reward.
