Isaac Hendrix dies in W. Virginia;

Isaac S. Hendrix, 82 [87] died at 10.40a.m., Sunday (July 8, 1945], as the result of a fall from a two-story window at the home of his grad-daughter, Mrs. John M. Haynes, 181 Armstrong Street, Keyser, West Virginia. Mr Hendrix had been in failing health for some time. He was a native of Elliston, Kentucky, and through his active life was engaged in carpentry and contracting business in Covington and vicinity. His parents were the late Henderson and Mary Atha Hendrix. After the death of his wife, Fannie Sherman Jump Hendrix, he resided at various places until 1926, at which time he made his permanent home with his granddaughter, Mrs. Haynes, coming to Keyser in 1941. Besides Mrs. Haynes, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. E. Price of Dover, Fla. and Mrs. F. W. Orr of Plant City, Fla.; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren. Other survivors are a brother, James L. Hendrix of Napoleon; and three sisters, Mrs. John Mcbee of Norwood, Ohio; Mrs. Della Northcutt of Covington, Kentucky; and Mrs. James Parks of Vevay, Indiana.
