Mrs. ALICE VIRGINIA JOHNSON, colored, widow of Moses Johnson, died at her home, 191 West All Saints Street, Wednesday morning after an illness of two weeks. She was aged seventy years. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Annie Hill Hammond and was a member of the Hope Hill M.E. Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Allen, of this city; and four sons, Archie and Mehrl, Baltimore; Guy, Columbus, Oh.; and Everett, NY City; sister, Mrs. Laura Costley, Washington, DC; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
