Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at Bramer Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. George Roquet, pastor of First United Presbyterian church. Organist was Mrs. Ed Bartachek.
Interment was in I.O.O.F. cemetery with Max Ryan Larry Brannian, Wallace Scott, Arnold Baetsle, Jr., Ernest Andes and John White serving as pallbearers. Mr. and Mrs. Elver Roudabush were flower attendants.
Ada Amelia Renner, daughter of Martha and Eli Renner, was born on a farm in Poweshiek county April 15, 1877, and died December 31, 1964.
She was married to Fred Albert Gray April 16, 1897, in the Presbyterian manse in Brooklyn by the Rev. Enoch Benson. The family lived on a farm until 1926 when they moved into Brooklyn. Mr. and Mrs. Gray observed their Golden Wedding anniversary in 1947.
Mrs. Gray was a member of the Presbyterian church in Brooklyn. Until leaving to live in the rest home, she had spent much of her time helping people in the community.
She is survived by two children, Harold Gray of Malcom and Mrs. Lyle C. (Lucile) Ramsey of Adel; a sister, Mrs. Florence Baird of Cedar Rapids; a brother, W.H. Renner of Monroe City, Mo.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1950 and two sons, Floyd, who died in infancy, and Raymond, who died in 1957.
