ANDERSON — Dorothy May Baer, 88, of Anderson and formerly from Elwood, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at Saint John's Medical Center in Anderson.
"God took a look around his garden and found an empty place
he took a look upon the earth and saw your tired face
he put his arms around you Dorothy and lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful for he only picks the best"

She was born May 28, 1922, in Middletown, Ohio, to Robert and Retta (Smith) Luse.
Dorothy retired from May Supply Company in Anderson after 50 years of service.
She married Willard P. Baer on Feb. 15, 1944, and he passed away in 1983.
Dorothy is survived by her two close neighbors and friends, Ramona and Doug Copeland of Anderson, Jim and Cathy Goodwin of Markleville and Judith Pyles; and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Retta May Luse; and her husband, Willard.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St., Elwood.
Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation one hour prior to the Monday service at the funeral home.
