Mrs. Pearl Barger Alexander, 92, of 42 Chateau Drive died Wednesday at a Rome hospital. Mrs. Alexander was born in Graysville, Tenn., Dec. 11, 1904, daughter of the late James R. Barger and Minerva Harris Barger. She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church and prior to retirement was employed at a hoisery mill.
Survivors include her widower, Albert Winfred Alexander, to whom she was married Aug. 31, 1928; two daughters, Norma Dean Phillips, Calhoun and Fonda Sexton, Rome; a sister, Ruby Gothard, Kingsport, Tenn.; a brother, Jim Barger, Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Hopper officiating.
