She had worked for the former Loblaws grocery store for 20 years. She was a member of Wesleyville Baptist Church and the Philathia Class, the Laura Rebekah Lodge 101 I.O.O.F., and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Fred G. Blackmer; and a brother, Meridith Proper.
Survivors include two sons, Larry D. Blackmer and his wife, Phyllis, of Erie, and Clifford R. Blackmer of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Judy Schreffler of Franklin; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
