He was raised and received his education in Winfield graduating from Winfield High School in 1965. He then attended St. John's College in Winfield. He worked at the Good Samaritan Society in Winfield as a custodian.
Stanley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winfield. He enjoyed animals, reading, listening to music, and watching sports and weather.
His family includes: His brother: K. John Ring of Lenexa; His sisters: Phyllis Maxine Boucher of Douglass; and Sharon Marlene Hill of Denver, CO.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Thursday October 28, 2010 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
