She was born October 22, 1926 in Shelby County, Ill., the daughter of Everett and Pearl Culver Storm. She married Dale Beals, Sr., raising fours sons, Larry, Leonard, Leslie and Dale, Jr.. She later married Paul Vail. Surviving were sons, Larry Beals (Ruth) of Mattoon, Leonard Beals (Rose Mary) of Peoria, Leslie Beals (Susan) of Effingham and Dale Beals, Jr. (Cindy) of Abilene, Kan.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and close friends, Charlene Allsop and Paul Vail. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
