Services for Mrs. Hitt will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Todd Elliott officiating. Interment will be in Piggot Cemetery in Arkansas on Friday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hitt, 84, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Quality Care Health Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by parents, James K. Polk and Amanda Elizabeth Rhodes; husband, Paul R. Hitt; brothers, Slim, Speck and Dusty Rhodes.
Survivors include: daughters, Kathy Moody and Cindy (Lee) Mangrum, both of Lebanon; sisters, Bea Hitt and Ruby Dunn; grandchildren, J.T. (Shana) Moody, Kimberley (Chris) Moody Trusty and Abbey Mangrum; great-grandchildren, Reilly and Raegan Moody; friends, Veda Shepherd and Edna Partlow; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff at Quality Care Health Care and members of Berea Church of Christ.
Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements
