"Chuggy", as she was known by her family and friends, was very beautiful and a really fun person. She was a cocktail waitress at the old "Silver Slipper" on the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was known by many and loved by all. When Tex Ritter would come to the "Silver Slipper" to do his show, he would open with, "HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HELLO THERE "CHUGGY"!!!!" He was devastated at her death and said he was going to write a song about her.

She died a few days after suffering burns in a fire. A neighbor saw smoke and pulled her from the home. She died in the hospital a few days later.
