Mary T. Fessler, 93, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning Jan. 19, 1999 at the home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 22, 1999 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Nov. 11, 1905 in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late George and Mary Schiesel Brunner. On Oct. 21, 1925, she married William Fessler at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. He preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1980. Mary was employed at Art's 151 Supper Club for 35 years. She was an avid gardener and also enjoyed quilting. Mary was a volunteer worker at Park Lawn home. Her memberships include The Christian Mother's of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a former member of the St. Joseph Choir. At the time of her death, Mary Fessler had been the longest active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was baptized, attended school, was confirmed and was married there.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jerome Mullins, Madison; one son and daughter-in-law, William and Shirley Fessler, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Dr. Maureen Mullins (John Harting), Madison, Brian (Pam) Mullins, Madison, Mallory Mullins (Martin Lueck), Minneapolis, Minn., Bradley (Kelly) Mullins, Madison, Jay (Darcey) Mullins, Madison, MaryJo (Steven) Spiekerman, Madison; 10 great-grandchidren, one sister-in-law, Lorlene
Brunner, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Schiesel Brunner; step-mother, Margaret Brunner; two brothers and one sister- in-law, George and Edna Brunner and Urban Brunner. Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno, from 9 a.m. Friday, until
the time of service at 11 a.m. Memorial may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno.
