Oscar Lawrence "Larney" Durham, 60, of Mount Vernon, died yesterday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center on Leestown Pike in Lexington after a short illness.

He was born on November 8, 1923, in Carr Township, Indiana, the son of Dan Elbert Durham and Lucille Mae "Lula" Pike.

He was a barber and former Mount Vernon City police judge,

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Beatrice "Bea" Anglin Durham, and their children.

Services will be at 11 am Monday at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home. visitation will begin at 6 m today.
