Funeral services will be held at the Olean Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Rosetta Amos, 79-year-old mother of Earl Amos, 124 W. Circle Dr., who died Tuesday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Sadie Wiser, in Springfield. Burial will be in the Olean Cemetery. Mrs. Amos was a member of the Olean Baptist Church.

Mrs. Amos was born near High Point, April 4, 1874, the daughter of William and Margaret Short. She was married to Henry Amos in 1896 and lived most of her life in the High Point and Olean communities.

In addition to the son and daughter, Mrs. Amos is survived by one other son, Glen Amos, Springfield; four sisters, Mrs. Joe Miller and Mrs. Will Vanpool, both of Olean; Mrs Emma Armstrong, High Point; and Mrs. Nannie Stinson, Iola, Kan.; seven grandchildren and three grat-grandchildren.
