Funeral services for James Sears, 60, of 7711 Ohio 199, Wayne, Ohio were held at Dunn Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Ohio. The Rev. James Trautwein officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born June 3, 1927 in Bedford, IN., to H.H. and Lillie Mae (Lanz) Sears.
Also surviving are four sons, William Michael -formerly of Bowling Green, China, and Washington D.C. area; Richard Lee Sears formerly of Bowling Green, now in Key West, FL; Victoria Ann Wilson (Sears, Genson, Todd) now living in Sandusky, OH; Patricia L. Sears Tracey now living in Mentor on the Lake, OH; James Barthel Sears Jr. now living in Kentucky, and John Scott Sears now living in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Mr. Sears began his career working for his father in Bedford, Indiana. He became a heating and air conditioning sales rep., working in Jeffersonville, IN, and surrounding areas-also in Toledo, Ohio area. His family were members of St. John's Episcopal Church in Bedford, IN.
Our Dad was tender-hearted, had a sharp mind for poetry and stories of James Whitcomb Riley.
