David R. Johnson, 60, of Gerald died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gerald Cemetery with the Rev. W.W. Connally officiating.
Mr. Johnson was born March 16, 1943, the son of Ralph and Johnnie Johnson. They both preceded him in death in 1999. Mr. Johnson had lived in the Bellmead-Elm Mott-Gerald area for 40 years. He graduated from LaVega High School and attended Hill College. He was an employee of the Cotton Belt and Missouri-Pacific Railroad for a number of years. He was also a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, David Mark Johnson of Luling; and two granddaughters, Elizabeth April Johnson and Kristeen Loraine Johnson.
