James Washington "Wash" BURTON, son of William Thomas "Tom or WT" BURTON and Elizabeth Ann "Betty" KING; born 03 November 1867, Webster Co., KY (death cert; has error on birth year); died at age 79 years, 10 months, 29 days, on Wednesday, 02 October 1946, Sebree, Webster Co., KY; buried Friday, 04 October 1946 at Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 132, Sebree-Dixon Road, Webster Co., KY.

No known tombstone was erected on his burial plot.

Wash married 16 December 1885 to Texanna WALKER, daughter of William WALKER and Isabelia "Ibba" McELROY.
