CUMMINGS--In Longmont, Monday, August 28, 1905, of cancer, Chester Holbrook Cummings, aged 64 years, 5 months and 15 days.
The death of Mr. Cummings was not unexpected as those who have known him could see that the cancer in his face was gradually growing worse. He has been patient in his sufferings, facing the inevitable as bravely as he could.
He was born in Yorkshire, N. Y. March 13, 1841. Came to this city in 1886, where he has since resided. He has suffered for about two years with the cancer which caused his death.
He leaves a wife and one son, Edgar Cummings of Denver, who was in town to attend to the last duties for his father , and a daughter in Pennsylvania, who wish to express their thanks to the friends who have ministered to his needs and comfort.
