JOHNSON--At his home near Longmont, Friday, September 8, 1922, A. W. Johnson, almost 79 years old.
A. W. Johnson was one of Longmont's pioneers, coming to Colorado in the late sixties. In the early seventies he bought a farm five miles south of Longmont, built a lovely home and he lived until he passed away.
He was a man highly respected by all who knew him, a man of Christian character and sterling worth.
His wife passed away ten years ago.
He leave to mourn his going four daughters, Mrs. Dan Howard, Mrs. Albert Lund, Mrs. Scott Hershey and Mrs. Harry Yeager; and two sons, Elmer Johnson of Longmont and Charles Johnson of Lovell, Wyo.
