Richard Paul Lee, son of the late Asa Allan Lee and Lula May Austin Lee, was born July 9, 1933 in Thomasville, Mo. and died December 20, 2004 in West Plains, Mo. at the age of 71 years.
He was married July 28, 1956 in Alton, Mo. to Wilda Waggoner.
He is survived by his wife, Wilda Lee, of the home near West Plains; one daughter, Teresa Layman of Ariz.; one son, Greg Lee and his wife, Fran, of Fenton, Mo.; four grandchildren, Crystal Layman, Gregory Lee, Katie Lee, and Andrea Lee; two brothers, Irvin Lee and his wife, Peggy, of Salem, Mo.; Gary Lee and his wife, Anna, of Mena, Ark.; three sisters, Mildred Cacciapaglia of Las Vegas, Nev., Pauline Woodruff of Alton, Mo., and Janice Switzer and her husband, Dave, of Alton, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty Robinson, Hazel Bales, and Odean Lee.
He attended the First Baptist Church in West Plains, Mo. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean conflict. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather, and is greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
