Ethan Michael Smith, 8 of Nashua, died Tuesday October 26, 2010 at Children's Hospital Boston following a courageous battle with Neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer.
He was born February 17, 2002 in Nashua, son of Amy (VanDoorne) Smith of Nashua and Michael Smith Jr. of Nashua.
Ethan was a third grader at Sunset Heights School in Nashua. He was always full of life and lived life to the fullest. Ethan touched many people in his life's journey.
Besides his loving parents, survivors include a sister, Sierra Smith of Nashua. A half sister Hannah Woodward of Nashua. Maternal grandparents Shirline VanDoorne and Theodore VanDoorne both of Nashua. Paternal grandparents Lisa and Kevin Kiesling and Michael Smith Sr., all of Nashua. An Aunt and Uncle, Michelle and Dan Messer of Nashua. As well as many other loving family members and very dear friends.
Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, October 29th from 4pm – 8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. (RTE 111) IN HUDSON. A Remembrance Service will take place on Saturday October 30th at 10am in the funeral home. All May Meet At 9:45am. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua.
