CLAXTON - Jarred "J.J" Alexander Adams, 19, died Dec. 24, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was a native of Somerset, KY., who had lived in Claxton since 1995. He attended Claxton Schools and was a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Michael Cook of Ludowici; his father and stepmother, James and Deborah Adams of Somerset, KY.; three brothers, Ricky Howard of Jesup and Duane Adams and Kevin Adams, both of Somerset, KY., a sister, Jamie Lynn Brumley of Florence, KY.; his maternal grandmother, Annie May of Jesup; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Friday at the Chapel of Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. GodfreyRitter officiating. Burial followed in Baggs Cemetery in Ludowici.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Middleton, Harry Middleton, Randall Hewitt Jr., Harold May Jr., Daniel May and Ricky May.
Honorary pallbearers were Dustin McOlley Arron Durrence, James Bentzel, Seth Iler, Corey Fennell, Tony Davalos, Jeremy DeLoach, John Hamner, Robert Hodgson Jr., Travis McFadden, Lee Jones and Allen Thompson, Jr.
Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
