Vernon "Tater" V. Glawe, 82, died Friday, March 23, 2001, in V.A. Medical Center, Iowa City, following a brief illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Monona, by the Rev. Christopher Staley. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, with military rites. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel of Monona; a son, Stanly of Des Moines; two daughters, Christine Krambeer of Southlake, Texas, and Cynthia Angerer of Holland, Mich.; and a stepsister, Donna Radloff of Farmersburg.

He married Hazel Viola Berger 14 Oct 1939 in Waukon, Allamakee, Iowa.
