Ruth is possibly a baptismal name.

Between her mother, Esther marriages she lived with maternal Aunt Maude Lee nee McNett - Allen.

Her husband Robert was a Carpenter by trade and built his home and Aunt, Maude Lee nee McNett Allen and her husband Arther 'Art' Allen. These two homes were built as neighboring homes in Westmoreland township, New York, South of Rome, NY.

They had a Son who was Still born and two Daughters. The successful birth was one of a twin daughters; Helen Monica Happle.

Robert built Doll houses and a Play House out of an air cargo freight crate for Helen in her childhood. Robert died when Helen was 7 years old of Liver Cancer. He was laid out at the family home for viewing as this was the practice of the day and region.

His wife Alta and Helen live in the home he built.

Helen eventually went to work as an air force secretary at former Griffiss Air Force Base near Rome, NY. During this time they had the money to make improvements to the home. Running water, a full bathroom, additional oil heated furnace.

Helen had a friend Bill who introduce her to her future Husband Paul.
Helen Married her husband Paul W Mills Jr. of Missouri in January 1964 around Rome, NY. That Catholic parish later burned to the ground.

Alta lived in the home until a visit to St. Louis County, MO to see her daughter and family. She came on visit with Martina Happle. Alta had a stroke and lived the remainder of her life in St. Louis County. Between Overland, Florissant and Creve Couer.

She was beloved by daughter Helen, son-in-law Paul Mills Jr. and grandsons: Paul, Robert, and James.
