Mr. Robert R. "Dick" Adams

Pooler - Mr. Robert R. "Dick" Adams, 72, died Sunday, April 9, 2006 at his residence.

The Hancock county native was a member of First Baptist Church of Pooler, a veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from Union Camp after 38 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Marcus Adams and Evie Louise Frazier Adams.

Survivors include is wife of 48 years, Nancy Horne Adams of Pooler; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Adams Drawdy and Chuck of Pooler; two grandchildren, Kylie and Makay Creech; brother and sister-in-law, R. Marcus Adams, Jr. and Lois of Garden City; sister-in-law, Judy Thomas of Savannah; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be in Gravel Hill .

Remembrances, in lieu of flowers, may be given to: Hospice Savannah, PO Box 13190,
