Earlene, age 86, passed away at her home in Coffeyville. She was the daughter of Glen and Irene (Taylor) Purdy. She married Clarence McCartney on December 24, 1946, in Coffeyville.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Yeubanks, Dana Merry, Rowena Boydston, Charita Males, and Kathy Howe, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, David Eugene McCartney, and her sister, Lois Blakeslee.
Services were held at Central Church of the Nazarene. Burial was in North Edna Cemetery.
