Daughter of George C. Howell and Tryphenia Nichols, wife of Lyman Beecher Blydenburgh, the son of Jonas Beecher Blydenburgh and Cecelia Ann Darling, whom she married on November 2, 1855, in Suffolk County, New York, and mother of Thirza J. (married Daniel Roe L'Hommedieu), George Beecher, John Herbert, Ebenezer S., Mary, Julia A., Julius Morton and Anna Frances Blydenburgh (married Virgil R. Case).

Obituary - Mrs. Julia A. Blydenburgh, aged 81, died of pneumonia complicating a fractured hip at the home of her son, George B. Blydenburgh, 1142 Napier Avenue, Richmond Hill, L.I. She was born in Babylon, L.I., spent the early years of her married life in Stony Brook, and the last twenty years with her daughter and sons in Richmond Hill. Funeral services at above address at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
