Shirley Mae DiNatale, of Vienna, MO, was born September 14, 1938 at Potosi, Washington County, Missouri, a daughter of Dominick Anner and Rachael M. (Thebeau) Boyster, and departed this life at 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at her residence near Vienna. Shirley had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 72 years, 1 month and 15 days.

Shirley was united in marriage in September of 1959 at St. Louis, to Samuel Joseph DiNatale, and to this union three children were born. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband on April 17, 1986; her father and one sister-in-law, Delores "Dory" Boyster.

Shirley had participated in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Annual Ugly Bartender Contest, raising large amounts of fundature for this charity and was also active in fundraising for the American Cancer Society, as well as many other fundraising projects for anyone in need and for other charities, with all being a reflection of her being a member of the Catholic faith. She was owner and operator of Moreland's Catfish and Steak House, near Vienna, beginning in 1986 until her retirement. Shirley had received the Missouri Best Catfish Award for three years in a row during the time she operated her restaurant.

Those left to mourn her passing include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas Anthony and Mary Lou Dinatale, Vienna and Joseph Allen and Joan DiNatale, Camdenton; one daughter, Tracee Lynn DiNatale, Vienna; five grandchildren, Cherie James and husband Chad; Heather Lanning and husband Tony, and Derrick DiNatalie, all of Vienna; and Joseph Allen DiNatale II and Anthony Michael DiNatale, both of Camdenton; two great-grandchildren; Adelynn Marie James and Teagan Parker James, both of Vienna; her mother and step-father, Rachael and Ken Moreland, Vienna; her step-mother, Helen Boyster, Richwoods; two brothers, Jim Boyster, Vienna and Glenn Boyster and wife Michelle, Mt. Vernon, Indiana; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 in the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri with Rev. Robert C. Liss, Pastor of St. Stephen officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Richwoods Lions Club Hall, 10645 State Highway A, Richwoods, Missouri.
