Oct. 15, 1909, in Covington, he graduated from Covington High School. On Nov. 19, 1931, he was married in Danville, IL, to Irene Johnson; she survives.
Mr. Baldwin was a retired maintenance department employee of C&D Battery, and had formerly worked as a grinder at Harrison Steel Castings Co. He was a member of Covington Christian Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Connie (Mrs. Everett) Lohmeyer of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Zola Stomm of New Carlisle and Mrs. Genevieve Elgin of Des Plaines, IL; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James H. Baldwin in 1981; a grandson and a great-grandson.
