Zephyrhills, FL- Richard Noyes Cook, Sr., entered into rest July 14, 2008 at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills after a short illness.
He was born in Livermore, Maine on November 10, 1924 to Rossie Luella Noyes Cook and Percy Floyd Cook. He graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1943. Following high school, Richard worked for his parents at their family farm in Livermore. He also worked for Turner & Ridley, was a store rep/manager for Wirthmore Feeds and eventually became a store manager for Agway, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Mosher) Cook-they would have been married 50 years on August 11; his seven children; Donna Rowell and husband, Larry of Hartland, Douglas Cook and wife, Mary of Pittsfield, David Cook and Pixie Nolan of Belfast, Debra Cook of Custer, WA, Diane Howard and husband David of Bradenton, FL, Darlene Campbell and Robert West of Pittsfield, and Richard Cook and wife, Jodi of Pittsfield; 14 grandchildren, Heidi, Michelle and Eric Rowell, Honesty and Delight Cook, Charles and Jessica Shaw, David II, Adam, and Jason Cook, Joshua Campbell, Amber Connors and Elizabeth Cook, and Mary Howard; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Reginald.
