Last rites for Howard B. Cook, 61, who died Wednesday, were held here at Campbell Funeral Home Friday by Dr. J. F. Murrell, Baptist minister. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Cook, who died Wednesday night in the veterans hospital in Dallas, had been in failing health several years. Born in Texas, he moved here in 1909, and attended Hugo schools. He served in World War I, and had been an employee of the late W. C. Henry.
He leaves a sister, Miss Lola Mae Cook here, and a brother, George Cook, El Paso, Tex.
