Brooks Darling passed away at his home in Virginia Beach on November 8, 2004. He was a graduate of Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, where he lived with his parents. He was a beloved husband, son and brother and is greatly missed. He was born in Portland, ME and lived in Maine, Maryland, Hawaii and Virginia.

Brooks was a brilliant software programmer and computer expert. His typing skills were outstanding, resulting in a 3rd place finish in a national contest for speed and accuracy. Brooks enjoyed sports, especially skiing, skateboarding and swimming. A self taught DJ, he loved to scratch records. He enjoyed all types of music, poetry and psychology. Brooks' love for people and animals was infinite.

He is survived by his loving wife Meagan, his adoring parents, Glenn and Linda Darling, his sister, Amy, and brother, Brandon all of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Alice and George Olsen of Cape Elizabeth, ME; paternal grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Morong of Gorham, ME; his maternal aunts and uncles, Beverly Dehart, Pamela Dehart, William Rhoda and Michael Olsen all of Southern Maine; his paternal uncles, Keith Darling and Adam Darling of Maine; a host of cousins, extended family members and many, many close friends including, Kern Ann Hazel, Jeff Gilpen and others too numerous to list.
