BEN TEAGUE

Services for the Rev. Ben L. Teague, 72, Springfield will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn North Chapel with the Rev. Carl Swiney officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hope Cemetery.

Rev. Teague died at 5:12 p.m. Sunday in St. John's Regional Health Center after a long illness.

A retired Baptist Minister, Rev. Teague served as a pastor of several local congregations and most recently for Concord Baptist Church. He was a member of Willard First Baptist Church. He also was a mechanic who formerly worked for Thompson Sales Co. and Graham Automotive.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys, a son, Gene, Springfield, a brother, John, Aurora; and four grandchildren.

The family will be in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today for visitation.
