Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Crawford Funeral Chapel at Sidney, with the Rev. Samuel Hofer of the Nebraska City (Neb.) Presbyterian Church officiating and burial at Whipple Cemetery at Griswold.
Chubick was a retired Fremont County farmer.
Survivors include his widow, Donna; three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Smith of Leon, Mrs. Edward (Pat) Cass and Mrs. Robert (Janet) Frakes, both of Nebraska City, Neb.; four sons Alfred Pierson of Garden Grove, Ill., Marvin of Maryville, Mo., Jerry, serving with the U.S. Navy in Japan and Robert of Sidney; 9 grandchildren; three brothers, Edgar Pierson of Garden Grove, Lester Pierson of Percival and Richard Pierson of Red Oak; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Butcher of Avoca, Mrs. Elsie Lawson of Nodaway and Mrs. Leona Lint of Villisca.
