Edna Nola Nimmo Young, 87, Springfield, departed this life at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, 1995 in her home. She was born July 22, 1908, in Charity to Willis and Cinderella Lemon Nimmo. She was dearly loved by her family and was a special patient to all who attended her in Cox Medical Center North and Hospice of Southwest Missouri.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters and their spouses, Lee A. "Shorty" and Ruby Young, Warsaw, A.E. "Gene" and Esther Young, Springfield, Jo and John "Rick" Poyner, Elkland, Betty and D.B. Klapper, Kansas City, Kans., Shirley and Larry Carty, Springfield, and Pat Young, Springfield; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
