Jeremiah Allman was born in Moundsville, Marshall County, on the 18th day of April 1849. Departed this life at his home near Elizabeth, the 4th day of February, 1926. His death being partially due to his age of 76 years, 9 months and 17 days. He was a well respected citizen and united with the church early in life. The following mourn their loss of him: Mary F. Allman wife, Bell Lyons, Arena, Florence, Lillie Deem, Ethel Deem. Nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Only two of his immediate family remain. His brothers, Osias and Benjamin. Services were held at the Rose Hill Church and interment in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Saturday the sixth, by Rev. Hart.
