WINSTON-SALEM - Jacqueline Sprinkle Felts, 74, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was born to the late Walter B. and the late Effie Blevins Sprinkle in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she spent her entire life. Retired from Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies, Jackie enjoyed dancing, traveling, and meeting people in her pastime. As all those who met her will attest, she was always willing to help anyone in need. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Stone, and her two grandchildren, Dustin Willard and Kristin Dowell. Predeceased by her brothers, Walter B. Sprinkle Jr., Denny L. Sprinkle, and Harold E. Sprinkle, and her sisters, Alma S. Parks and Doris S. Hege, she is survived by her brother, Robert. E. Sprinkle, and sister, Shelby S. Myers, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends at Frank Vogler Funeral Home Reynolda Road Chapel on Tuesday evening, November 2, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to an organization of the donor's choice.
