SUNBURY — Wanda H. Yeager, 91, a former resident of Sunbury, passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, in Norman, Okla.

She was born July 21, 1919, in Mount Carmel, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Meszcznski) Malinoski. She was married to Charles Yeager, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Wanda served with the Marine Corps during World War II and was stationed at Pearl Harbor.

She was formerly employed at the Westinghouse Co., Sunbury.

Wanda enjoyed dancing and singing.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Bunny and Jim Wright, of 6208 S.E. 56th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73135, with whom she made her home; three grandchildren, Angie Zerbe, of Boston, Mass., Heidi Olson, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Cindy Wright, of Oklahoma City; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Zerbe; two sisters, Genevieve and Patricia; and two brothers, Henry and Joseph.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 Thursday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 1 with the Rev. Donald Cramer officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
