A memorial benefit will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Papa's Pizza in Eugene for Christopher John Cole of Eugene, who died Oct. 19 from Lou Gehrig's Disease. He was 41.
A celebration of life is planned for later.
He was born in Eugene on Oct. 28, 1968, to John and Vetus Orndorff Cole.
He was a lifetime resident of Lane County and owned his own landscaping business.
Survivors include his mother, of Eugene; a son, Andrew, of Eugene; a brother, Tony Cole, of Eugene; and three sisters, Carla Burns of Beaverton, Sally Cole of Eugene and Dianna Taylor of Gig Harbor, Wash.
