Vera V. Smith, 89, died Saturday, July 16, 1988, in Malin. Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 1, 1898 in Cooper, Texas to George P. and Mary E. Frazier Johnson.
She is survived by son, James and wife Joan of Springfield; daughter, Mary Singer of Malin; grandsons and their wives, Ed and Debbie Singer of Anchorage, Alaska, Stephen R. and Sherry Smith of Creswell, Allen and Debi Smith of Springfield, and Tommy G. and Connie Smith of Springfield.
Grandaughters and their husbands, DeAnn and Danny Daves of Springfield, and Debbie and Jim Cutshall of Anchorage, Alaska; five great grandchildren; sisters Jane Johnson of Tulelake, CA and Bertha Holland of Citrus Heights, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Robert D. Smith, died in May of 1988.
Interment at Malin Community Cemetery.
