Devon was known for her effervesent smile, kindness and generosity to others. She came from a very loving family.
Suddenly and unexpectedly, Devon died in Costa Rica on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the age of 27.
She was the cherished daughter of Michael and Cheryl and adored sister of Darcy and Blair.
Devon will also be missed by her fur siblings.
Devon was an admired granddaughter of Philip and Donna Brooks and Gertrude Lord.
She was the niece of Sheelagh and Barry Willer, Corey Brooks, Shannon and Shawn Brooks, Erin Brooks, Lee Ann Lord and Ron Phipps.
Devon was also the cousin of Steven and Amy Willer, Cristen and Goncalo Abecasis and Jeffrey Lord.
Devon rested at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, in Markham, Ontario. Visitation took place on Tuesday, October 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.
There was a private cremation.

There is a Devon Lord Brooks Scholarship that is in the process of being set up at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
