(Nutting) Trout, who live near Union; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard E. (Velma L.) Stults of Elkhart, and Mary L. and Ruth E. at home; a son Clare E., also at home; a grandson; a brother Claude H. Trout of Union, and four sisters, Mrs. Carl R. (Florence M.) McMurray of Elkhart, Mrs. Darcy T. (Eunice L.) Barnes and Mrs. Stanley D. (Clemence M.) Cleveland, both of Detroit, and Mrs. Clyde G. (J. Marguerite) Harmon of Cassopolis. Mr. Trout was a farmer and lifelong resident of the Union area. He was of German (Pennsylvania Dutch) and colonial English descent, with American ancestry dating back to the Mayflower.
The body will be at the Geisler mortuary, Constantine, Mich., until Tuesday evening. The service will be conducted at the Trout home at 2 p.m. (EDT) Wednesday by the Rev. Wayne Paulen of the Methodist church at LaGrange township. Burial will be in the East Union Cemetery.

The informant was his wife, and he was buried Dec 2, 1942.
