Agnes Ruth Davis, age 84, of Athens, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. Davis was born July 30, 1926 in Limestone County to Marion Reece and Eula Mae Pitts Reece.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis are Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Limestone Memorial Gardens with Mike Poff officiating.
Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Limestone County.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Davis and wife Mary Ann; two brothers, Marion Reece Jr. and wife Mary Evelyn and Vernon Reece and wife June; one sister, Lura Putman; daughter-in-law, Deborah Davis; four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Davis; her parents, Marion Reece and Eula Mae Pitts Reece; sister, Elaine Scott; two brothers, Milburn Reece and J. D. Reece; and one son, Ronnie Davis.
