Mary Agnes "Mollie" Monteith Hensley,, 83 died at 5:40 p.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry (Beatrice) Morrison, Route 10, Kingsport, after a long illness. She had lived with her daughter for the last 5 years, moving from Washington County, Tennessee.
She was a member of the Fall Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Beatrice and Harry Morrison of Kingsport, one son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Jessie Hensley of Greeneville, one sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and Harrison Jenkins of Greeneville, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was presided in death by her husband, Elijah L. Hensley, and one son, Paul Hensley, her parents, Reuben Monteith, and Eliza Smith Monteith Kite.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Fall Branch Baptist Church. The Rev. A.V. Nichols and the Rev. Bill Gardner will be in charge of services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Pearson, Junior Pearson, Joe Gardner, Kernil Morrison, and Millard Mullinex.
The body will remain at the Fall Branch Funeral Home.
