Al, age 85, passed away at his home in South Coffeyville. He was the son of Norris and Allie Males. He joined the US Army Air Force in 1943 and served during World War II, being honorably discharged in 1945. He married Anna Crimmins about 1942 but later divorced. He married Eva Billups on June 30, 1971, in Valeda, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, his children, Bud Males, Sharon High, Cathy Primo, Donald Males, Bobby Beard, Donna Standard, and Joe Hill, his sisters, Patricia Mack and Bonnie, 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his children, Alice Gillespie and Chuck Males.

Services were held at the First Christian Church in Coffeyville. Burial was in the North Edna Cemetery.
