Rock Musician. He was a member of the Models during the 1980's and wrote their two biggest hits: "Barbados" and "Out of Mind Out Of Sight". He also wrote 2 autobiographies "I Am The Voice Left From Drinking" in 2002 and "I Am The Voice Left From Rehab" in 2007. Freud formed his first band, Sabre, at the age of 16 in 1976. In 1977, he formed The Spred and released one single "I Wanna Be Your Baby". In 1979, he formed "James Freud And The Radio Stars", releasing their debut single, "Modern Girl" in 1980. In 1982, Freud joined The Models as their bassist and also did some lead vocals on a few songs. He stayed with The Models until they split up in 1988. At this time, Freud went solo and released the album "Step Into The Heat" in 1989. Freud continued a solo career until 2009. On October 27, 2010, the Models were inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame. Freud was unable to attend the ceremony. A week later he was found dead in his home, an apparent suicide.
