Lifelong Remington Resident Dies
Mrs. D.D. Banes, a lifelong resident of Remington, passed away at her home at 8:30 a.m. Monday following a lingering illness. She was 84 years old.
Born in Remington, she was a member of the Remington Methodist church.
She was married to William F. Banes in 1901. He died in 1958.
Surviving are two sons, Boyd Banes and Paul Banes, both of Remington.
Funeral services were held at the Howard funeral home, Remington, at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. F. J. Crocker officiating. Interment was in Remington cemetery.
