Margaret E. Elliott, 100, passed away on Oct. 30, 2010 in Westborough, Mass. having resided at The Willows for the past 15 years. Previously she resided in Wellesley, Mass. for over 50 years. She was the wife of the late James H. Elliott, who died in 1980. Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Harris P. and Elizabeth A. Roundy. She was a graduate of Marblehead High School, Bryant and Stratton Business School and most proudly of Portia Law School (now New England Law School) cum laude in 1940. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for many years, including serving as regent of the Amos Mills Chapter in Wellesley. She was a long time member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Wellesley. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Elliott, of Southborough, and step-daughter, JoAnne Pillsbury, of Camden, Maine. She also leaves two step grandchildren and their families. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Boody, of Chicago, Ill. and step-daughter, Nancy Elliott, of Hanover, N.H. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley following cremation. Arrangements are private and under the direction of Duckett-J.S.Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776.
